THANH CONG’s 48TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
August 16, 2024, is a significant milestone for Thanhcong Textile Garment Investment Trading Joint Stock Company, marking 48 years since company was established. Originally known as the Tai Thanh Textile Factory, Thanh Cong has constantly transformed and developed to become a prestigious name in the Vietnamese textile industry. In 2009, Thanh Cong began equitization and E-land Group became the Company’s largest strategic shareholder. This partnership has significantly contributed to Thành Công becoming a trusted manufacturer for many international clients.
For 48 years, Thành Công has continuously innovated, set ambitious goals, and leveraged its strengths in the vertical production processes of Spinning – Weaving – Knitting – Dyeing – Sewing, while incorporating advanced technologies in business and production. With the goal of becoming a strong fashion and textile business platform in the next 5 years, we are committed to providing our customers and partners with exceptional, high-quality products and services, while also contributing the highest values to the community and society.
On this special occasion, Mr. Song Jae Ho, the General Director, shared a message with all employees:
“Today is a moment to celebrate 48 years of the company maintaining and surviving through the past. How did we survive in this harsh market? It is thanks to the dedication and commitment of our staff, who sometimes had to sacrifice sweat and blood. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company overcame this difficult period thanks to everyone’s fight. You stayed with the company to serve the business, produce, eat together, sleep together, and work together. I sincerely appreciate and am grateful for the efforts of our entire team.
However, we also need to look forward to the next 4 years, and even 48 years ahead. I will outline the strategy for our future development and hope that everyone remembers these points. This includes two main areas: “Basic” and ‘Strengths’.
In the “Basic”, the first point is ‘Quality’, the most crucial factor in building trust. Without ensuring quality, other factors become meaningless. The second is ‘Speed’; we will transform to make the company faster. And third, I want to emphasize ‘Waste Elimination’. These are key terms that can help the company increase productivity.
To strengthen the company, we need to focus on developing Technology, R&D, and ODM. This will ensure stronger development in the future.
Next, Thành Công will transition from a manufacturing company to a business platform. We will become a solution provider in textiles and fashion, from retail to fashion to technology.
Specifically, I will share our vision for 2030 as follows:
• We will become the textile company with the best technology and the first fashion business platform with a revenue of 1 billion USD.
• Everyone at Thành Công will grow up. We will also create 50,000 jobs and develop 10 Vietnamese CEOs.
• Finally, we will make a consistent contribution to society. Thành Công will provide medical treatment for 100 people at the Thành Công Clinic. We will offer scholarships to 100 people. And finally, we will create green factories.
This anniversary is about looking towards the future. I hope you will join me in making these goals a reality.

“48 years is not an excessively long time for a company, but it is also not very young. Thành Công was established in 1976, and in 2009, E-land became the strategic shareholder of the company. Over the years, the company has faced many obstacles but also many opportunities. There have been times when we achieved significant milestones, but there have also been moments when we had to overcome very tough challenges. I can say that I am very proud when looking back at Thành Công’s 48-year development journey. Because Thành Công has not only achieved success in terms of profits or revenue but, more importantly, has contributed to society. Currently, there are 3 million workers in the textile industry, and we are among the Top 3 largest enterprises in this field. I have had many opportunities to meet with leaders and senior managers from various industries at different events, and all of them highly value the textile industry, especially our company, Thành Công. Because we truly create value for society. And we not only provide jobs for workers but also support and sustain their dependents, such as children.
Today, we are not only looking back at the past but also focusing on the future. I believe that with the young and talented workforce we have, Thành Công will overcome obstacles and fulfill the vision and mission the company is striving for. We are not just colleagues; we are also a family, a community that will stand together to create the best values for society.

Following the series of events celebrating the company’s anniversary, Thành Công organized the “TC’s 48th Anniversary Dinner” to express our trust and appreciation to the partners, customers, individuals, and organizations who have supported Thành Công throughout the years.
