Vietnam Textile and Garment turnover April 2021
According to Socio-economic situation in April and four months of 2021 published by Vietnam General Statistics Office, Textile and Garment export turnover in April 2021 reached 2.3 billion USD, equivalent to growth rate at 42% compared to April 2020. For the first four months of 2021, total export turnover of Yarn, Fiber, Textile and Garment is 11.14 billion USD. Yarn and Fiber recorded turnover at 1.64 billion USD, 43% higher than the figure of same period in 2020; Textile and Garment export turnover is 9.5 billion USD, with growth rate recorded at 9% higher than same period in 2020. These results are driven by the ongoing consumer demand recovery in Vietnam Traditional export market and the effect of FTAs.

In April 2021, Thanh Cong recorded 14 million USD in revenue, 49% higher than April 2020. In the first four months of 2021, Thanh Cong has reached 54 million USD in revenue, equivalent to growth rate at 26% in comparison with same period in 2020. This result also represents the fact that the Company has completed 30% of 2021 Plan.
Regarding net profit, in April 2021, Thanh Cong reported 822,000 USD in net profit, which is 150% higher than the figure of April 2020 (which was nearly 329,000 USD). Accumulated from the beginning of the year 2021, net profit has witnessed significant growth rate of 96.7% to reach more than 3.4 million USD in comparison with same period 2020.
In terms of product structure breakdown, garment takes the highest proportion in revenue with the figure staying at 72%. However, it is seen that, there is a slight transition in structure, in which Fabric and Yarn is increasing their proportion 2% and 1% respectively. In addition to regular orders from current customers, the rise of Fabric is contributed by new orders mainly from Japan.
Generally, in the first four months of 2021, proportion of garment has recovered in product structure; however, fabric has decreased 5% in comparison to same period in 2020. This results from the fact that Thanh Cong no longer receives orders for Anti – Virus fabric, instead, orders from tradition markets have been recovered. Moreover, the Company have taken advantage of EVFTA and the supply chain shift to develop domestics market.
Currently, all factories are operated at full capacity and Thanh Cong has received orders till the third quarter.
Social Activities
Thanh Cong has always managed to contribute regularly to the society with monthly activities such as: granting scholarship for children of plight employees and visiting orphans. On 14th May 2021, Thanh Cong representatives visited and gave presents and necessities for three orphans including Son Ky orphan, Huynh De Nhan Nghia and Thien An orphan.
