tatives of Vietnam Textile Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh City Textile and Garment Union, the Company leaders and 104 officials and employees representing for more than 7,000 employees of the company. The Company Leaders and Trade Unions have commended, given gifts and medals to 28 families of generations and 28 couples who have worked closely many years, accompanied and contributed through the stages of foundation and development of the Company. On this occasion, Vietnam Textile and Garment Union also announced the decision to reward and given certificates of merit to excellent Labor Union officials of the Company in 2018.
In the Conference of laborers, the representative of the company also reported the business results in 2018 and the implementation situation in the first 5 months of 2019. Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan – Chairman of the Company Trade Union – Head of the HR Department representing reported on the implementation of the 2018 Collective Labor Agreement. The conference reported the results of settlement the petitions of officials and employees in 2018 and summarized the recommendations of employees through the grassroots level Laborers Conference of 2019 as well as discussed and answered the 2019 petitions.
Mr. Tran Nhu Tung, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors – Director of Investment – Real Estate department, the representative of the company leaders spoke and shared about Vietnam garment textile situation, opportunities and challenges for Vietnam textile and garment industry in general and Thanh Cong in particular in the context of the American – China trade war, CPTPP and EVFTA agreements as well as shared the business directions and plans of the Company in the coming time to bring best business efficiency for shareholders, investors and create jobs and bring the best benefits for employees.
Mr. Tran Tien Cu – the representative of Vietnam Textile Garment Trade Union leader had speech commented and highly appreciated the Company production and business results as well as policies to take care for laborers. The Trade Union of the Company has well done the role as a connecting bridge between businesses and laborers as well as praising union activities in the past years, always leading in mass movements and communities. Besides, Vietnam Textile and Garment Union also hopes leaders, Trade Unions and employees of the Company to promote further in production and business activities to bring optimal benefits for businesses and laborers.
The conference passed the Resolutions and ended at 16:30 pm the same day.
