AUGUST HODs MEETING & THE 49th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
August HODs Meeting – 49th Anniversary Celebration was not only a session for sharing reports and discussing strategies, but also an opportunity for us to look back on the journey we have taken, while beginning a new chapter ahead. Under the theme “Rise Together”, Thanh Cong affirms that true strength does not come solely from outstanding individuals, but from a united collective, moving forward together to conquer new heights.
At the event, the SO, R&BD, and HR departments shared their strategic directions toward 2030, emphasizing advancements in technology, product development, automation, and the cultivation of a high-performance workforce.
In August, Kaizen ideas that delivered outstanding results in enhancing productivity and reducing costs continued to be recognized. Congratulations to our colleagues in the Weaving, Knitting, and Sewing Factory for winning awards in this category.
At the same time, the Innovation Award was presented to the ERP-IT and Finance–Accounting teams for their Accounting Ticket system initiative, which enhances the quality of internal services and optimizes cross-departmental collaboration.
The meeting was also an occasion to bid farewell to Mr. Phan Van Dep Em, Head of the Spinning Factory, after his long journey of dedication at Thanh Cong. With deepest gratitude and respect, the company extends heartfelt thanks to him for his companionship and significant contributions to the company’s sustainable growth. We sincerely wish him good health, peace, and happiness in the next chapter of his journey.
49TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES:
Best Greeting Video: The HODs and ESIs together produced 10 congratulatory videos, delivering the meaningful message “Rise Together.” After an exciting round of voting, Team 1 and Team 5 emerged as winners with their creative and joyful videos.
Art of Rise – AI-Generated Art Contest: With the theme “Thanh Cong in the Next 5 Years”, the contest attracted more than 100 entries, showcasing the combination of AI technology and the creativity of our employees. The artworks brought refreshing perspectives and strong confidence in the company’s future. At the event, the 5 most outstanding pieces were honored.
Inspiration Award: This is a special award dedicated to departments and both Vietnamese and international HODs who inspire others, spread positivity, and guide the collective toward the future.
Other Activities: To spread positive energy and the spirit of “Rise Together” to all employees attending the event, the HR Department organized a variety of engaging activities, giving everyone the chance to explore fresh perspectives about the company as well as their colleagues. The bright smiles and joyful expressions of participants became the most meaningful and fulfilling gift for the Anniversary Celebration.
In his speech at the meeting, Mr. Song Jae Ho – CEO emphasized that achieving nearly half a century of sustainable growth is a proud accomplishment that not every company in Vietnam has reached. Today’s Thanh Cong has been built upon the dedication and tireless efforts of generations of Thành Công people.
The 49th anniversary is not only a time to look back on the journey so far, but also a moment to ask: How will Thành Công prepare for the next 50 years? The answer lies in showing gratitude to the past, staying true to core values, and boldly stepping into a new chapter.
According to the CEO, while the world continues to change, Thanh Cong remains steadfast on its foundation: customers – technology – speed in action. With this foundation, the company is moving toward the vision of becoming a global solutions provider, with key directions including: Garment ODM, domestic fashion brands, TC Apartments, and AI-driven solutions.
