THANH CONG WON PRIZE “INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY INTEGRATION” 2010
On the occasion of the 15th year Vietnam joining ASEAN, to respond to the year of Vietnam – ASEAN 2010 and under the patronization of National Committee of International Economy Integration, Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Central Board of Emulation and Commendation, People’s Representatives Newspaper cooperated with National Committee Bureau of International Economy Integration to organize Program of Election and Awarding Prize “International Economy Integration” the 2nd time, 2010.
This prize is held periodically to honor enterprises reaching many achievements in international economy integration. This year, with the theme “Enterprise Integrating ASEAN” the prize will focus on enterprises entrepreneurs who have achievements in implementing free trade area of ASEAN, as well as free-trade agreement between ASEAN and partner countries (Japan, Australia, India, China, Korea, Newzeland, etc.). Besides, the prize also aims to contribute to confirm the sustainable development of enterprises, entrepreneurs and concurrently consolidate and create a solid foundation for Vietnam brand value in the process of international economy integration.
After 5 months of implementing the program as a unified and close process, the Program Organization Board has received 455 dossiers for registration of participants from enterprises and entrepreneurs in all provinces in the country of 3 main sectors: Agriculture, Industry and Services. Judges have been working very hard and fair to pick out 81 Exemplary Enterprises, 55 Excellent Entrepreneurs in International Economy Integration and 20 Excellent Enterprises in International Economy Integration.
In the morning of July 26th, 2010, the awarding ceremony, broadcast live on VTV1, was held solemnly at the Opera House – Hanoi, with the participation of many state leaders. Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Lan, Communication Chief Officer of Thanh Cong Textiles and Garment – Investment – Trading Joint Stock Company, was honored to represent the Company to receive the prize. Along with being selected as one of the 10 typical M & A Commercial Affairs in 2010, the prize “International Economy Integration” one more time has noted the effort of Thanh Cong in the process of constant innovation and well-prepared integration. With over 30 years of development, Thanh Cong has been developing its strategies in compliance with the direction of the Party and State, confirming the scale of a modern brand of textiles and garment on the way to extensively integrate international trade.
The selection of enterprises participating in international economy integration is to honor entrepreneurs and enterprises who are excellent in business operations and get high efficiency in the process of international economy integration, at the same time, to mobilize and encourage more Vietnamese entrepreneurs and enterprises to believe to “walk into the great sea”, overcome difficulties and steadily contribute into improving confidence and position of Vietnam in the process of international economy integration.
