1. Highlight financial performance
Performance of the parent company on July of 2019, the revenue achieved about $ 16,726,538 and net profit achieved about $ 985,763. Performance until July, accumulated revenue is about $ 91,099,763 has achieved 100% compared the target and increased 7% compared with last same period, accumulated net profit achieved is about $ 6,088,927 has achieved 118% compared the target and slight reduced 3% compared with last same period. The reason is the net income 7 months of 2018 have a part come from other income.
2. CSR activity
On July 2019, the Company implemented some CSR activities. Besides gives monthly scholarships to Thanh Cong students, the Company visited, gave presents monthly for three orphans and the poor family of Tay Thanh ward, organized happy mart program to sell necessities to workers. Besides that the Company visited and donated 15 gifts including necessities and Thanh Cong T-shirts to disadvantaged households of Hoa Phu Commune, Long Ho District, Vinh Long Province. At the same time, donating necessities VND 10 million to the Social Work Center and donating 500 Thanh Cong T-shirts to the Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long Province to carry out the provincial social work.
3. Other activity
On July 25, 2018, the Company held a feedback meeting to evaluate the performance of the Company in the first 6 months of 2019. At the same time, the company sets the implementation plan for the remained 6 months of 2019.
In the feedback meeting, Mr. Lee Eun Hong – General Director reviewed the business results of the Company in the past 10 years as well as shared the vision and business strategy in the coming time. In addition, the General Director also stated the situation of labor costs and research and development (R&D) of Vietnam’s textile and garment industry in general and Thanh Cong in particular compared to competitors such as China, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar … from that point out the business strategy to aim toward the revenue and profit growth target of the Company in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Company also organized a promotion ceremony for staffs who have made excellent achievements and contributed to the Company in the past time and awarded employees who enthusiastically participated and achieved excellent performance in weekly ERP competitions.
