On the afternoon of December 22, 2025, under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA) jointly organized the Ceremony to honor and award the title of Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025 to 155 enterprises, including 77 manufacturing enterprises and 78 trade, service, and real estate enterprises, based on their efforts and achievements in implementing green transformation, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Thanh Cong Textile and Garment Investment and Trading JSC (TC) is honored to be one of the few textile and garment companies to have received this award for three consecutive years.

Attending the Ceremony there are the leaders of the People’s Committee, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA), VCCI, the leaders of departments and agencies, the Council and Advisory Board of the Green Business Award, and the representatives of 155 award-winning businesses.

Speaking at the Ceremony, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Nguyen Loc Ha, affirmed that the Green Business title not only has the meaning of honoring but has also become an important tool contributing to promoting the transformation of the growth model towards green, sustainable growth, and in line with the National Strategy on Green Growth. This is especially important as Ho Chi Minh City is finalizing its green development strategic framework until 2030, with a vision to 2050, focusing on green resources, green infrastructure, green behavior, and identifying pioneering sectors, where the role of the business community is particularly crucial. The Green Enterprise title has contributed to encouraging businesses to strictly comply with environmental regulations, invest in clean technologies, improve production processes, develop environmentally friendly products, and at the same time enhance competitiveness and international integration capabilities.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa – Chairman of HUBA affirmed that green transformation can completely go hand in hand with business efficiency, and called on the business community to continue pioneering innovation in technology, management, and energy to work together with Ho Chi Minh City towards sustainable growth.

On its journey towards greening growth and sustainable development, TC has been gradually realizing the greening goals and standards demanded by customers and the market, as well as the inevitable trend of sustainable development. These are not only TC’s efforts but also an affirmation of the importance of sustainable development in the company’s business strategy, creating green experiences for the community and increasing the Company’s brand value, contributing positively to the green and sustainable economic development of Ho Chi Minh City, and contributing towards the common goal of carbon neutrality and net zero carbon emissions in Vietnam by 2050.
