1. Highlight financial performance
The performance of the company in July and 7 months of 2013 got the satisfactory result. In July, revenue is about USD 11,237,000 increased 25% compare to the target and net income is about USD 663,000 increased 100% compare to the target. The accumulated revenue of 7 months is about USD 66,337,749 and accumulated net income reached about USD 3,293,694.
2. TCM is removed from warning list on HOSE
Thank to efforts of all leaders and employees of the company, the performance in 1st half of 2013 got good result, and HOSE has decided to remove TCM share to be out of warning list since August 28, 2013. This is an encouragement for all Thanh Cong’s members to get best result in 2nd half of 2013 and future.
3. Investor Conference
On 21/8/2013, Thanh Cong has organized the Investor Conference at Park Royal Hotel – HCM City to share the information of the company’s performance in half first of 2013 and implementing business plan in future. On this occasion, the leaders of the company also share the information of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement plan to approve at the end of 2013 and opportunities and benefits that Thanh Cong will be enjoyed from this agreement. According to Stock Investment Magazine, among textile garment listed companies, Thanh Cong is only one can meet the rigorous standards and enjoy benefit from TPP. According to analysis of Bao Viet, with the good performance expectation in 2013, TCM share’s target price will be 21,800 VND/share.
4. Corporate Social Responsibility activities
On the occasion 37th anniversary of Thanh Cong 16/8/1976 -16/8/2013, the company has organized the meaningful programs and CSR activities. Internally, the company has organized “Thanh Cong Scholarship Ceremony” to grant 63 scholarships for the children of the poor workers of the company with amount about VND 110,000,000. Besides, the company coordinated with Red Cross to implement Blood donation program with attendance of more than 200 volunteers. In addition, the company also organized the Sport Contest so that the workers and employees can play and exchange together. Externally, the company also granted 120 scholarships and 30 bicycles valued VND 100,000,000 for the poor pupils of Tan Phu District and support uniforms, textbook, stationary and necessaries for the children of Son Ky and Thien An on new school year 2013-2014.
5. Other activity
Aim to make Talent profile to improve efficiency of manpower of Thanh Cong, on August, the Talent Hunting Team organized the language and logical trial test for more than 200 Thanh Cong’s members.
